Udiliv 300 mg Tablet (Ursodeoxycholic Acid)
URSODIOL (ER soe dye ol) helps diffuse gallstones in cases who cannot have or who do not need gallbladder surgery. Ursodeoxycholic acid 300 mg is an epimer of chenodeoxycholic acid. It is a mammalian bile acid obtained first in the bear and is either a parent or a product of chenodeoxycholate. Its administration changes the formation of bile and may dissolve gallstones. It is used as a cholagogue and choleretic. This medicine is also useful for some liver diseases of adults, children, and infants. Ursodeoxycholic acid (Udiliv 300 Usage), which is the main component of Udiliv 300 Tablet, is a generally occurring Bile Acid and is used to diffuse gallstones that are rich in cholesterol. It is also used to increase the flow of bile in primary biliary cirrhosis. Gallstones can result in symptoms like jaundice, pain, inflammation of the pancreas and gall bladder too. The gall bladder creates stones when bile (generally a liquid) hardens. Calcium deposits in the gall bladder can also result in stone formation. This can cause severe pain.
Ursodeoxycholic acid tablets 300 mg is a biliary cause, prescribed for gallstones. It helps to diffuse the stone by decreasing the amount of cholesterol cleared by the liver into bile.
